Claudia
My name is Claudia, I was born in Southern Italy surrounded by beautiful beachs. Growing up in Italy I was a very active child and I was involved in school soccer. In 1990 I got married and then moved to the United States and four years later I had my two children. As a military family we moved around alot. I worked in the health care field for years and saw first hand the damage that a lack of physical fitness and poor nutrition can do to someones body. When I moved to California I became active in many aspects of fitness, such as weight training, boxing, kickboxing, and I also started training as a long distance marathon runner. People can live healthier longer and live more energized lives. You have to want it-and my purpose is to help them see that fitness actually works. and the benefits of a healthy lifestyle are enormous.
Claudia is a Certified Personal Trainer and will be attending the Crossfit Level 1 Certification course in March.

Our Philosophy

Compound Crossfit is dedicated to those that are dedicated to getting, being, and staying in the best shape of their lives. We believe in words like dedication, commitment, and determination. We believe fitness is the merging of the fundamental aspects of Cardiovascular/Respiratory Endurance, Stamina, Strength, Flexibility, Power, Coordination, Agility, Speed, Balance, and Accuracy.

Any activity in life that requires the fundamental aspects of fitness utilize the entire body simultaneously. In order for a Police Officer to bend down pull his partner or a citizen out of harms way, he or she is using their legs, back, core, and shoulder muscles. In order for a Fire Fighter to throw a line over his or her shoulder and run up 10 flights of stairs, what muscles are they using? We believe that it is essential for all of the fundamentals to be developed simultaneously and we focus our workouts around that methodology.

Bottom Line:
If you have reached a plateau in your current work out regimen, and want to pierce the ceiling to the next level; if you are striving for elite fitness, come to the compound.

“Forging Elite Fitness”

What Is Crossfit?

CrossFit is the principal strength and conditioning program for many police academies and tactical operations teams, military special operations units, champion martial artists, and hundreds of other elite and professional athletes worldwide.

Our program delivers a fitness that is, by design, broad, general, and inclusive. Our specialty is not specializing. Combat, survival, many sports, and life reward this kind of fitness and, on average, punish the specialist.

The CrossFit program is designed for universal scalability making it the perfect application for any committed individual regardless of experience. We’ve used our same routines for elderly individuals with heart disease and cage fighters one month out from televised bouts. We scale load and intensity; we don’t change programs.

The needs of Olympic athletes and our grandparents differ by degree not kind. Our terrorist hunters, skiers, mountain bike riders and housewives have found their best fitness from the same regimen. Thousands of athletes worldwide have followed our workouts posted daily on this site and distinguished themselves in combat, the streets, the ring, stadiums, gyms and homes.
